  1. Students will have a quiz on Latitude and Longitude.  Please review your packet so you are prepared for the quiz.  
  2. Also, bring a red pen to class tmrw. 

Homework for 9/26

-Students will find the latitude and longitude of the following locations:

  1. Dublin, Ireland
  2. Hong Kong, China
  3. Cape Town, South Africa
  4. Calgary, Canada
  5. Sydney, Australia

-Students will also study their map for their quiz tmrw.  Students should be able to label the 7 continents, 5 oceans, equator, prime meridian and the cardinal directions. 

-Students will complete their worksheet on latitude and longitude for B-H. 

Graffiti Vocabulary

Today students were introduced to the Graffiti Vocabulary Strategy. Here is a link to refer to for an example, as well as the rubric that will be used to grade, it is Strategy 2. These are to be completed for homework if they did not finish them in class today.
